Hi,
I'm using check_esx3 plugin to check directly on the datacenter the space usage of vmfs volumes.
However, it seems that when a volume is used by 2 esx hosts for exemple, the check I do on the datacenter reports 2 occurrences for the same volume, in the performance data.
Hereunder the command used and its result:
nagios at nagios:/usr/local/nagios/libexec$ ./check_esx3.pl -l vmfs -s Extra_vol1 -D xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -u username -p password -w 85% -c 95%
CHECK_ESX3.PL OK - Extra_vol1=23853.00 MB (19.62%) | Extra_vol1=19.62%;85;95 Extra_vol1=19.62%;85;95 Extra_vol1=19.62%;85;95 Extra_vol1=19.62%;85;95
nagios at nagios:/usr/local/nagios/libexec$
In this exemple, Extra_vol1 shouldn't be returned 4 times (and is indeed used by 4 esx servers)
Best regards,
Yannick
