[op5-users] check_esx3.pl no IO output

Um...
I realize I managed to provide an example where the output indeed wasn't
all zeros. It's the first time I am seeing anything other than zeros...
Perhaps I have simply misunderstood how this script is supposed to
report back; can anyone point me to some documentation I'd be much
obliged.
Thanks,
Otto

Subject: [op5-users] check_esx3.pl no IO output
Hi,
I am having issues with the check_esx3.pl plugin and was hoping someone
here could provide some hints on how to fix it.
The problem is that when checking IO the output is all zeros.
CPU, MEM and NET works just fine. Only IO is zero.
I am seeing this no matter which one of my VMware servers I query, ESX
(vSphere) or ESXi (3.5 or 4.0).
Here is an example:
perl check_esx3.pl -H emea-got-esxi04 -u root -p rootpw -l IO
CHECK_ESX3.PL OK - io commands aborted=0, io bus resets=0, io read
latency=1 ms, write latency=0 ms, kernel latency=0 ms, device latency=10
ms, queue latency=0 ms | io_aborted=0;; io_busresets=0;; io_read=1ms;;
io_write=0ms;; io_kernel=0ms;; io_device=10ms;; io_queue=0ms;;
The check_esx3.pl script I am using was obtained from
http://www.op5.org/community/projects/op5-plugins, 82806 bytes in
length.
Thanks,
Otto
