I'm aware of this issue, and I'm working on correcting it as quickly
as possible. If you're using the Ninja frontend, this already works
as intended, since the Merlin daemon on the NOC system will update
the database properly even though the internal state of the Nagios
system on the NOC isn't properly adjusted.

I might actually have this functionality ready later today. I'll
make sure to announce it here when I do, so stay tuned.

Thanks for your thorough testing and reports. They're extremely
helpful to us in our planning work.
