Ah, indeed.
I took a look at the source and realized that though there are
two AMF channels configured it tries to use the secure channel only.

In the release version (Geomap is not part of any NagVis release yet)
we will move to creating channels programmatically from ActionScript,
instead of defining them in XML that gets processed at compile time
by Flex compiler.

In the current version (including the latest from git) your choices are:
* configure HTTPS access
* change uifx/src/services-config.xml and recompile GMapModule.swf
