Hi,
I've just started to try out the merlin system and I must say it seems
very promising :-)
We've been running poller/noc topology using nsca and a caching
"submitter" which until now actually scales quite nice.(at least in
nagios 3x)
I have a couple of questions:
Running current git version and nagios 3.2.
1. When benchmarking, running very many hosts, I sometimes see the
following message:
Nulling OOB ptr 0. type: 0; offset: 0x1000000; len: 272; overshot with
16776944 bytes
and this one:
send(7, (buf + total), 22, MSG_DONTWAIT | MSG_NOSIGNAL) returned -1
(Resource temporarily unavailable)
What does this mean?
2. From my understanding, the NOC will disable checks when a poller
connects (having correctly configured hostgroup/hosts/services)
However i see that the NOC is performing servicechecks/hostchecks
Will the noc enable checks when it loses connection to the poller?
Is there a configuration option I've missed?
