[op5-users] How it works?

I'm trying to set up a noc-poller system with merlin.
The configuration seems to work but i still have to understand how it works.
I added i hostgroup to the noc but then? Do I have to add the services checked on the poller? Do I have to enable special things on the poller?
Because in the ninja noc i see the host (as nagios as well) but i cannot see more then nagios.
Do the states go from the poller to the noc server? Or are just staying on the poller?
I need a bit to understand how it works. Or do you have some documents to look at?
