Hello,
bird eye does not have these `3d` features, but it provides the possibility to zoom to by clicking on the corner elements of currently visible net. Also it is a question of implementation, I think.

Hi there,
It looks great but I wasn’t able to zoom in and spin around as you can on the regular Hyper Map. It gives a more futuristic view and customers usually love it.
It seems like bird eye is more of a “1 layer” and not really “3D” as the old Hyper Map?
Or am I mistaking?
Either way, I like flash better than java J

Hey all
Here is a very interesting flash component that we are thinking of using as a replacement for the “Hyper Map” in Monitor. Take a look at RaVis, http://birdeye.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ravis/RaVisExamples/example-binaries/RaVisExplorer.html .
I’m very curious at what people outside of our office thinks about it.
(this is also posted as a blog post at http://blogs.op5.org/wordpress/?p=15 )
Cheers
