Hi,

Linux/unix logs should be possible to send to syslog with logger 
http://tanaya.net/Logger/
Logger can take a text file (i.e. old logs) and send it to syslog.

On windows, windows syslog agent, could translate the eventlogs to 
syslog, http://www.op5.com/support/downloads/agents/windows-syslogagent
A registry key keeps track of tha last eventlog message sent, so remove 
it and all the logs in eventlog will be sent to a logserver. Read the 
instructions on page 4,
