Make sure
Either you make monitor (or whoever the user you use to logon to ninja) a valid contact for your hosts/services
Or you have to import the old valid users (in htpasswd.users) to ninja there is a script in a folder called cli-helpers for just that

Objet : [op5-users] Installed Merlin and Ninja on CentOS 5 and nothing

Hello,

I realize that Ninja is pre-beta but I wanted to give it a try. The install
of Merlin and Ninja went pretty smoothly following some of the mailing list
postings. We have had our Nagios install running for several years.

When I log into Ninja, however, I get nothing. The gui etc. all works but
there are no hosts, services etc.

How does the configuration from Nagios get imported into Ninja?

How do updates to the Nagios config get imported into Ninja?

I could see that there is some import script (php script) in the merlin
daemon but the path to the script is hard coded in the c code. I tried
correcting that path rebuilding etc. but still nothing. Any pointers would
be appreciated as this looks very nice.

Frank
