HI Joe

Not sure if this will help you, but when I set up ninja I had problems with
setting up the nagiosadmin user so I ran

/usr/bin/php -q /PATH TO NINJA/ninja/cli-helpers/htpasswd-import.php /PATH
TO NAGIOS ETC/htpasswd.users

And that seemed to work ok

I've checked the Merlin DB and can see the nagiosadmin user, along with 
a monitor user (which I also tried).
