Sorry for my lack of information and my inaccurate report. But right now, 
merlin has been deactivated, and with a log file of several hundred of 
megabytes, I did'nt found the correct lines. By "some information saying 
that the database is updated", I want to say that there is a lot of 
messages saying that the database is updated correctly, but that takes a 
lot of time. Il will enabled again merlin, purge the log file and send an 
extrat to the list

That is what what I thought. I will put a crontab task to clear the log
