[op5-users] re Merlin not importing all data from objects.conf

Hi Andreas

Yes existing status and host checks are being continuously updated and if I
set a host to not send notifications in the nagios gui then ninja picks that
up as well

But if I add a new host or remove an existing one then merlin doesn't pick
it up even though the import runs in the shell

During my testing I noticed that there were 2 nagios processes running so I
did a stop start of nagios and removed and added a host which ninja picked
up.

But another 3 hosts which weren't in ninja didn't import

It's all very strange

mike

Is the status being continuously updated after the re-import? I'm thinking
perhaps the daemon has lost the connection to the database or something. The
error handling when that happens is far from stellar.

Considering the successes of the wars on alcohol, poverty, drugs and
terror, I think we should give some serious thought to declaring war
on peace.
