[op5-users] re Merlin not importing all data from objects.conf

Hi Andreas

I've upgraded to the latest version of Merlin and Ninja and have been
testing it all afternoon and it looks like the initial feeling I had was
correct

Removing the --cache=/usr/local/nagios/var/objects.cache from the
merlin.conf file and running the latest version does import data correctly

Now I just need to upgrade my 2 production boxes, but that can wait till
tomorrow

Cheers

Mike (off to the garden to drink a cool beer)

You shouldn't have the --cache=/usr/local/nagios/var/objects.cache there.
Merlin will append that for itself, along with a bunch of other options.
It's possible that the import program is bugging out because it's getting
the --cache= argument twice (though it shouldn't do that iirc).

Thanks. I appreciate it. The bugfix *shouldn't* matter for this though,
but more testing is always good.

Considering the successes of the wars on alcohol, poverty, drugs and
terror, I think we should give some serious thought to declaring war
on peace.
